Digital Heritage Joint Call

 

The Joint Programming Initiative in Cultural Heritage and Global Change was pleased to announce in 2017 a funding opportunity for transnational proposals in the area of Digital Heritage. The Digital Heritage call  support well-defined, transnational, interdisciplinary and collaborative research and development projects that maximise the value and impact of research outcomes by promoting the Exchange with policy makers, businesses and commercial enterprises, the broader Heritage sector, voluntary and community groups and the general public.

A project proposal must comprise of at least three research teams, each based in an eligible institution in a different country participating in the Digital Heritage Call.

The countries participating in this call are: Belarus, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom.

The call will include three main topics:


The critical : engagements with Digital Heritage


The curatorial : Communities and Digital Heritage


Safeguarding Digital Heritage

The deadline for submission of proposals was 22th June 2017, 14:00 CEST.

Proposals to the JPICH Digital Heritage Call for Proposals had to be submitted by the Project Leader via the portal Isaac hosted by NWO (Handling Partner for the call). This was the only way to submit a JPICH Digital Heritage proposal. In order to submit a proposal, the Project Leader of the consortium (Main Applicant) had to register as a user in the Isaac portal.

After a national eligibility evaluation process and a detailed common scientific evaluation, 8 Projects were selected for funding. Funded projects were supposed to start  by Juanary 2018.
