Fair of European Innovators in Cultural Heritage’_ Brussels 15th -16th of November 2018


Organised by the European Commission as a key event of 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage, the ‘Fair of European Innovators in Cultural Heritage’* is a wonderful occasion to discover how the EU is promoting research & innovation in cultural heritage, fostering creativity and novel solutions across countries and facilitating intercultural dialogue.

The event will build on the results of the Heritage and Innovation conference and will focus on the next steps for the future.

Participants will have the opportunity to join the *‘Community of Innovators in Cultural Heritage* and its Platform, engaging with innovation providers, innovation users and investors.
– WHY –
The event seeks to respond to essential questions:
– *Who are the innovators and ‘change-makers’ in the cultural heritage
domain? *
– *What do they need to work better? *
– *How to promote an open innovation ecosystem on cultural heritage? *
– *Where is innovation produced?*

– WHO –

Questions will be discussed with researchers, innovation providers, policy makers, representatives from cultural institutions, start-ups and incubators, business companies, creatives, pioneers from technology and economics, European Institutions representatives, UN agencies.
– HOW –

An exciting programme of plenary and parallel sessions all along the two days, including inspirational talks, round tables, pitches from innovators, poster sessions, Horizon 2020 projects’ clustering, brokerages and a B2B corner.

Participants will find an *exhibition showcasing breakthrough innovations*developed by EU funded R&I projects in the fields of tangible, intangible and digital cultural heritage.

Participation will be confirmed after registration, within the limitations of available seats.
